Richmond historic village, just a short drive from Hobart, is one of Tasmania's most popular tourist destinations. Most of the village was constructed by convicts serving time at Richmond Gaol between the 1820’s and 1840’s.
Driving into Richmond I was taken by this view of the village emerging from the rising morning mist. Such a peaceful scene.
