The paintings look beautiful. I am sure that the colour depth would be more dramatic in real life than that seen on the computer. I am particularly impressed with the painting showing from the top of the cliff looking out. Almost made me feel like stepping off the cliff (I have a phobia with heights). Well done and presented.

Thanks Joy. Yes, it's hard to know how the colour will appear on different computer screens. If you felt like you were stepping off the cliff, the painting has worked. That's just how I felt when I was there.

Yes, I love Turner too - some wonderful oil paintings as well. Oh, to be able to paint impressionist landscapes like that! Haven't done much in watercolour, I prefer the texture and feel of oils.

Hi Peter, how do you find the oil consistency since moving to Ipswich compared to Hervey Bay a bit more runny with the heat?
Or is that just your brow !
